Peter Scherrer - President

Peter Scherrer brings over 30 years of business experience to Scherrer Development Group. His professionalism, customer focus and high standards of performance continue to surpass client expectations.

Mr. Scherrer started his career with Scherrer Construction Company working in the field various summers through high school and college. Upon graduation from college, Peter joined the firm in 1979 as a project engineer. Roles in estimating, project management, and business development preceded Peter’s election to President of the firm in 2001. Since commencing his presidency, Peter has lead $193 million of gross volume of construction projects for Scherrer Construction.

Leslie Scherrer–Development Group Leader

Prior to joining Scherrer Development Group, Ms. Scherrer earned experience with a Madison-based commercial real estate development company where she focused on feasibility analysis, lender relations, investor relations and finance. She completed transactions totaling $375 million in gross value. Projects included office and retail development as well as master planning and land development for Urban Villages.


In addition, Leslie worked for a Wisconsin-focused multi-family housing developer where she served as owner’s representative by overseeing all components of property development including predevelopment, acquisition, financing, construction, leasing, and property stabilization.
