Project Description:

Wisconsin travelers and tourists can now enjoy a safe, handicap- accessible building that includes restrooms, diaper-changing facilities, telephones, picnic areas, drinking water, vending machines, and travel and weather information. Striking native Wisconsin stone and tile was used throughout the facility to create a durable facility that will serve the state for many years to come. With over 1,500 visitors a day, Rest Areas 11 and 12 are the busiest in Wisconsin.
