The Beginning of Scherrer Construction:
In 1928 Vin and Elmer Scherrer began constructing quality farm buildings. They created and grew a company that was built on a foundation of superior workmanship, a team environment and a sense of pride in the community. Since 1928, the tradition continues…
Today, Vin’s grandson James E. Scherrer is President and CEO of Scherrer Construction. Jim continues the tradition of quality by instilling the lessons that he learned from his field experience and the mentoring of his father James V. Scherrer, Chairman, and Uncle Jerry Scherrer, Senior Vice President. By working together and communicating effectively Jim has created a team atmosphere. As a team, Scherrer is able to guarantee projects are completed on time. This team approach also ensures that each customer of Scherrer Construction is completely satisfied at the completion of their project.
