5th Annual Scherrer Cares Golf Outing Raises over $125,000!

Scherrer Construction held their 5th Annual Scherrer Cares Golf Outing on June 13th

and thanks to the fantastic supporters in the struggle against bullying, Scherrer Cares raised over $125,000! Over 200 golfers filled the course at Evergreen Country Club in Elkhorn to help raise funds for the non-profit organization. Scherrer Cares gives back to the community through various organizations, including their own Buddy Bench program that provides Wisconsin schools with customized Buddy Benches to help spread kindness and create friendships.

Along with golfing, additional games included an air gun launch, ball drop, and a 50/50 raffle. After dinner, a live auction was held which included a Milwaukee River booze cruise, autographed photos of Wisconsin’s finest athletes, Aaron Rodgers, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Chirstian Yelich, a Jimmy Buffet concert package, and a one week stay in Aruba.

Over 80 businesses we work with helped us reach our fundraising goal through various sponsorships. Special thanks to our main sponsor, Two Men and a Truck, for their generous $10,000 donation again this year.
