Major Renovations Complete for New Waters Edge on Delavan Lake

Scherrer Construction Co., Inc., in partnership with Angus-Young Associates, recently completed a major renovation to the Town of Delavan's outdated community building to become a premier wedding and event venue, Waters Edge on Delavan Lake.

The new 8,230-square-foot facility includes a modern 240 capacity event space with a bridal suite, a terrace overlooking Delavan Lake, a prep kitchen and more. Scherrer also installed an elevator to update the building to meet ADA compliance.

“This newly renovated community building is poised to be the premier wedding and event destination in the Town of Delavan,” explained Mark Kuzniewski, project manager of Scherrer Construction. “There were many different people involved in this project which made it a huge success.”

Waters Edge on Delavan Lake held it's first event on October 23rd for the Town of Delavan's Annual Oktoberfest celebration. A ribbon cutting was held during the event to officially celebrate the completion. The new venue already has events booked well into 2022.
